What app does the Hotel Lobby trend?
Last updated:
There is no single official app. The Hotel Lobby videos you see are made in three different ways, and the one you pick decides how close you get to the real COLORS clip. Here is how they compare. We make one of these tools, so we say where the others are a better fit.
1. Prompt-and-reference video generators
Tools like Higgsfield (its Genjutsu feature comes up next to Hotel Lobby in Google's suggestions), Dreamina and similar AI video generators rebuild the scene from your photo plus a prompt or a reference video. Kapwing also posted its own tutorial for doing the trend in its editor.
Good when you want a variation: a different outfit, a different backdrop, a cartoon character. The trade-off is that the scene is recreated, so the orange backdrop, the mic and the lip-sync can drift from the original, and you usually need to write or paste a prompt.
2. One-tap template sites
Sites with a ready-made Hotel Lobby template: Starrd has one (plus an extended cut), LightX has a Hotel Lobby image-to-video page, Mitte lists a Hotel Lobby app, and hotellobby.ai is a single-purpose site for the trend. You upload a photo and get a video without writing a prompt.
How close they get to the real clip depends on whether the template recreates the scene with AI or uses the original footage. Check the sample videos on each before you pay.
3. Real footage with your face swapped in
That is what TrendTemplate does: the template is 6 seconds of the original COLORS performance with its audio, and only the faces change. One photo makes you Quavo, two make you and a friend the duo, and it costs 5 credits ($4.99 for the Try pack).
Good when you want it to look like the real video. Not the right tool if you want a new scene, an outfit change or a longer clip than the 6 seconds we offer.
What to compare before you pay
Real footage or recreated scene. Whether the original song is in the export. Whether it does the duo with two photos. Whether you need a prompt. Watermarks on the free tier. The price per finished video, not per credit.
Prices and free tiers change often, so check each tool on the day. We only list our own price here.
How much does a Hotel Lobby video cost?
A 6-second Hotel Lobby video costs 5 credits. The cheapest way to make one is the Try pack: $4.99 for 5 credits.
No subscription. Credits never expire, and a failed render gives your credits back automatically.
Questions, answered
Is there a CapCut template for Hotel Lobby?
People share CapCut-style templates for it on TikTok and Instagram, but the AI versions with your face are usually made in one of the tools above and then posted. With TrendTemplate you download the finished MP4 with the sound, no CapCut step.
Can I make the Hotel Lobby video for free?
Some tools have free tiers with limits or watermarks. TrendTemplate has no free tier: a 6-second video is 5 credits, and failed renders refund automatically.
