Hotel Lobby AI is the September 2026 trend where people put themselves, their friends or their pets into Quavo and Takeoff's "Hotel Lobby" performance on COLORS.
The original performance
COLORS is the music channel known for one-colour studio sets. In this one Quavo and Takeoff of Migos perform "Hotel Lobby (Unc & Phew)" in front of a bright orange backdrop with a hanging studio microphone, trading lines and hand moves. Takeoff passed away in November 2022, and fans still leave "RIP Takeoff" under the clips.
How the AI trend took off
From around 20 September 2026 "hotel lobby ai" tutorials were everywhere. People swapped the two rappers for themselves, friends, Spider-Man and Green Goblin, and a pair of cats whose version passed 6 million plays.
