What is the "oh you can make it cap" trend?
Last updated:
It is a two-person AI clip set to a sound from the YouTube show 20 vs 1: one person grins and covers his mouth, the other shows off. People put themselves, their friends and their favorite athletes into it.
The sound
20 vs 1 is a YouTube series where 20 women meet one rapper and he picks who stays. The audio in this trend is a short exchange from the show: a compliment, a "let me see you", and a lot of laughing.
People spell the name a few ways: "oh you can make it cap", "can you make it cap", "make it clap" or just "20v1".
The first AI clip
On 22 October 2026 the TikTok account @tbooogss, which makes AI wrestling skits, put two wrestling bosses into a white studio and cut them to that sound. The joke is the timing: a grin, a cut to the other person, then a hand over the mouth. It passed 500,000 plays.
How it spread
From 23 October, CapCut template accounts copied the exact cuts and posted "I recreated the viral Oh you can make it cap moment". The biggest of those passed 1.5 million plays within a day or two. Almost all of it was in the US, and most versions swap in sports stars or TV characters.
